			<title>How To Build A Wormery</title>

			<description>
				How To Build A Wormery

Award-winning gardener Chris Beardshaw on mother nature's recycling plants

Do you ever feel like your garden could be greener? Many of us have made our houses more eco-friendly but lack the knowledge to make our lawns, borders and hedges grow in a more sustainable manner. Yet there are many simple and effective steps we can take to make our gardens more environmentally sound such as using a watering can instead of a hose, installing a waterbutt to collect rain water, making our own compost or creating a wormery.

Worm composting is a method of recycling food and garden waste into a rich, dark, soil conditioner. Not only is it a low-cost way of keeping your garden in tip-top condition without the use of chemicals, it's also a great way of keeping those trips to the tip to a minimum.

Yorkshire Bank and the National Trust have teamed up to encourage people to make their gardening more environmentally friendly and save money in the process with their 'Greener Gardens' campaign. So to start you off, check out this HowTo video guide with award-winning garden designer Chris Beardshaw as he shows you how to create your own wormery, as we take a worm's eye view of the sustainable stewardship of our gardens...

			<title>How To Create A Green Sustainable Garden</title>

			<description>
				How green is your garden?

Top tips for creating sustainable outdoor spaces

These days many of us are well versed in trying to be eco-friendly in the house, but what about our gardens?

There are relatively easy steps we can take to help our gardens grow in harmony with Mother Nature, but according to new research by Yorkshire Bank, the majority of us feel there is a lack of information about how to go about it, and two-thirds believe they would be greener gardeners if free composting kits and garden waste collection services were provided.

Creating a sustainable outdoor space doesn't require too much spadework - though the use of hand tools is a great form of eco-exercise! In this HowTo guide, award-winning garden designer Chris Beardshaw takes you through the basics, from methods to conserve precious water to growing your own delicious vegetables without using pesticides. With a little planning and know how, nature can actually do much of the work for you.

Composting is another great way to reduce your garden's carbon footprint, save you tiresome trips to the tip and save you money. So if you want to get genuinely green-fingered, check out the videos below.

			<title>Butchers and Barbers &#150; the bush dilemma </title>

			<description>
				With the summers days having come to a close and the autumn winds getting evermore brisk, the time has come to get our gardens ready for winter so they don't get damaged by wind, rain and snow. But on which side of the fence do you find yourself when it comes to trimming around in the garden? Are you a Barber, constantly snipping away at plants, giving them the proverbial short, back and sides? Or are you a Butcher, desperate to get right to the meat of the plant and hack out as much growth as possible?

We all fall into one of these two camps, and knowing which is the right approach will make a big difference this autumn and even through to next summer, when your plants will thank you for doing it right. There are dozens of different ways to cut back foliage, whether it&#146;s getting rid of dead or dying growth, or pruning for flowering, fruiting or stem and leaf colour, and you can save yourself a lot of time with a quick tutorial from the experts.
Knowledge and skill aren&#146;t all it takes to have the greenest garden &#150; the tools and the confidence are also an essential part of proper pruning. Bosch introduces the world&#146;s first secateur with integrated lithium-ion battery. The Ciso is a lightweight and cordless pruning device which can cut through twigs and branches up to 14mm on average at the press of a button. What&#146;s more it can deliver more than 500 cuts through twigs with a diameter of nine millimetres with one battery charge. For those who have arthritis or RSI, this is the perfect solution to ensure you can get your garden looking its best &#150; all the gain without the pain.
To start you off, check out this video with garden journalist Geoff Hodge as he shows you how and when to prune your garden and avoid it looking like a jungle...

			<title>What makes a modern mum? </title>

			<description>
				If you think being a mum in the 21st century is hard work, spare a thought for the mums of 100 years ago. Like us, they had their hands full. Unlike us, they had little social freedom and no household gadgets to ease the gruelling manual labour of housework. Things have changed a lot in 100 years, but just how different is our own experience of motherhood from that of our own mums and grandmas?

A significant three quarters of women agree that the responsibility of household chores has been lifted from them over the past 100 years. Yet only 34% of us say that these responsibilities in the home are now shared between partners more than they had been between their parents.

The report published by Persil to commemorate its centenary reveals that 72% of modern women think the washing machine has afforded them the most time in their day.

While we have moved forward towards equal rights and greater freedom, it seems some of us would like to take a step back in into domesticity (although maybe a more modern version). A quarter of us genuinely enjoy our roles as homemakers and over two thirds (63 per cent) of women who describe themselves as stay-at-home mums cherish the role. We are increasingly attracted to spending more time at home yet a fifth don&#146;t feel we have taken on traditional homemaking skills as well as our mothers. We now even cite the likes of Barbara Good and Nigella Lawson as role models and hanker for the status of &#145;domestic goddess&#146; our mums and grandmas enjoyed.

There is, of course, much more to the story of how women&#146;s &#150; and mums&#146; &#150; roles in society have changed over the course of the last century. How well do you know the history of the British mum and what&#146;s next in their evolution? In the 1950&#146;s Persil asked the question &#145;What is a mum?&#146; in their first TV advert and mums have remained a key theme over the decades.

But after the honeymoon period is over and the butterflies have faded, our other half's annoying habits can start to niggle and we often doubt whether it actually has any potential. Yet despite our gut instincts it seems we still want to hold on, as a new report reveals that more than a third (34%) of us will persevere with a relationship well after we've realised we are with the wrong person.

While we all want to find that special someone, a lot of us in fact won't mind settling with that not-quite-so-special-one in the meantime. Research by eHarmony.co.uk shows more than four in ten of us have gone out with someone we didn't feel any spark or chemistry with. While a staggering third of us have dated someone who has made us unhappy. Celebrities do not have it any easier - despite their fame, looks and money it seems they suffer the same trials and tribulations as us - just look at poor Katie and Peter!

So how can we found out what makes up a compatible relationship? And why is it that we stick with the wrong guy? Lucky for you we have some answers, as world-renowned love and relationship scientist Dr Gian Gonzaga answers all our burning questions on love and finding 'the one.'

			<title>Lisa Butcher&#146;s Summer Fashion Fix </title>

			<description>
				As we prepare for the season of warm weather ahead, the need to update our summer wardrobe provides a great excuse for hitting the high street! Yet instead of filling us with glee, many of us may already be experiencing the onset of &#145;Seasonal Wardrobe Syndrome&#146; &#150; worrying about what we&#146;ll look like in those skimpier summer clothes.

Over the last few months we&#146;ve been hiding our arms and legs away behind thick jumpers and woolly tights &#150; and for many the thought of wearing a strappy top or bikini is already a daunting prospect. There&#146;s no need to panic though, if you are worried about exposing those winter muffin tops then there is still time to tone your tummy. By simply adopting a healthier lifestyle and eating sensibly, you can look great and enjoy this summertime with confidence.

This summer 2 out of 3 British women will suffer from &#147;Seasonal Wardrobe Syndrome&#148;, according to the new research by Special K, with the average British woman setting a target of losing half a stone or more. The syndrome also manifests itself in a significant number of women being in denial when it comes to their actual size. The research shows that 54 per cent of women admit they will diet to get into their summer clothes from last year rather than move up a size.

A spokeswoman for Special K said: &quot;The onset of finer weather is often the spark for a wave of summer dieting by British women, we found. &quot;Women do not want to buy a new summer wardrobe because it means they are admitting they cannot fit into last year's so they either lose weight or feel the squeeze.
 &quot;And this year, unlike others, financial reasons are also a major factor behind Seasonal Wardrobe Syndrome. So it is even more important to be able to wear last year's clothes.&quot;

So rather than have your confidence levels plummet when the temperature rises Lisa Butcher is on hand to guide you through the styles which will work best for your shape. The What Not To Wear fashion expert and model shows us a selection of fabulous clothes and flattering seasonal trends to allow you to dress with confidence at any stage of your transformation.

			<title>Liz McLarnon's Star Secrets</title>

			<description>
				Liz McLarnon first rocketed to fame in one of Britain's top girl bands Atomic Kitten, racking up hit after hit here in the UK and around the world. Since the girl group decided to call it a day, the multi-talented pop princess has wasted no time in showing the world that there are more strings to her bow than just a great voice, great moves and an impeccable sense of style.

Not only has Liz made her mark as a songwriter and enjoyed success as a solo artist, most impressively she proved she was a titanic talent in the kitchen when she became champion of last year's Celebrity Masterchef.

But what does it take to be as all-round fabulous as the lovely Liz? Is it possible to live the celebrity lifestyle on a budget? In a special internet-only interview conducted on behalf of Jeeves of 'Ask Jeeves' search engine fame, Liz spills the beans on her all-star secrets and how to get in on some celebrity action without breaking the bank. She answers questions ranging from where can I get that special dress to how can I feed my family for less?

			<title>Bring the beauty of nature into your home this winter</title>

			<description>
				Winter's here, and with it comes the ideal time to get busy transforming your home into a welcoming oasis of colour and beauty to keep those winter blues at bay. In this exclusive series of videos Sarah Holland from the Flowers &amp; Plants Association will show you how to get creative with the use of plants and flowers in your home. From your kitchen to the bathroom, Sarah will show you which plants or flowers work best, so you can brighten up every corner of your house.

Sarah will be dispensing her invaluable tips on which plants work best in specific rooms. Orchids, for example, will love the steamy atmosphere in your bathroom; while Mother-In-Law's-Tongue don't mind being in a study, as they don't require too much love and attention - or water! You'll be amazed how a couple of plants or a vase of flowers can really makeover the look - and feel - of any room in your home - fast.

			<title>Be your own party planner</title>

			<description>
				Spring is on its way and with it, the chance to shake off the cobwebs by throwing a celebrity inspired party for your family and friends. But as every hostess worth her canap&#233;s is aware, without adequate preparation a spirits-boosting bash can easily turn into a headache for you and a flop for your guests. Creating the right atmosphere, getting the most out of your budget, deciding on the perfect mix of guests and making sure any children in attendance are well catered for can make for a stressful experience.

However, this need not be the case - in this video feature brought to you by MySims Party, we show just how just a little organisation, creativity and careful shopping can make your guests feel like Posh and Becks at an A-list bash. One man who knows all about parties is Peregrine Armstrong-Jones. Peregrine has organised major events for the likes of the aforementioned Posh &amp; Becks and Elizabeth Hurley, not to mention staging the wedding of legendary party monsters Elton John and David Furnish. Who better to guide you through the party planning minefield?

If you're inviting people from a wide age range, how do you make sure none of them feel left out or overwhelmed? What kind of mood do you want to create? How many people should you invite? How do you ensure everyone of every age is catered for? Is it a good idea to lay on a medieval banquet or is a less-is-more approach advisable when it comes to the food?

For the answers to all the above questions and killer tips on how to sprinkle that extra little touch of glamour over the proceedings, press play and let our presenter and us show you how.

MySims Party is available on the Nintendo Wii and DS from 13th march. For more information visit www.mysimsparty.com

			<title>Let The Sun Shine In</title>

			<description>
				Winter was tough, and that's before you add the worst weather in years. England and Wales had the coldest winter since 1995 and Scotland and Northern Ireland the coldest since 2000. Seasonal Affective Disorder has become the defining syndrome for a generation. The need to keep our happiness and energy levels at a premium has never been so pressing, yet it's becoming increasingly hard to achieve, especially when the last few summers have let us down.

So it's no wonder the smiles have returned to people's faces as sunshine has started to hit the UK.

New research by Thomson reveals that seven in ten people say that sunshine strongly affects their mood, and over a quarter acknowledge that it at least helps. Three quarters say it increases their level of happiness, and 14% say it reignites motivation. Over 9 in 10 of us think that sunshine is the best antidote to stress.

But, as Met Office figures bear out, we just aren't getting as much sun during the summertime as we used to. Small wonder that annual overseas holidays, once seen merely as enjoyable breaks, are now deemed absolutely essential by the 9 in 10 people who say that sunny weather is crucial to their choice of destination.

But how exactly is sunshine able to exert such tremendous power over us? Robert Mighall - aka, Dr Sunshine - has travelled the world in search of the answer to that question. Log on here next week to listen to his Sunshine podcast so you too can follow the sunshine this year.

			<title>Here's One I Saved Earlier</title>

			<description>
				Do you find yourself keeping generic gifts in the cupboard for use in emergencies? Well you are certainly not alone!

According to a new survey by 3V Visa Internet Shopping Gift Cards, four in ten of us have the foresight to keep presents in reserve for when they've forgotten an occasion or need a gift at short notice. A third of people say they look out all year round for hints about what presents they can buy for people.

But while these reserve gifts may save the giver some embarrassment - they may not always go down so well with the receiver. Just under half of us admit to recycling unwanted gifts and 20% of us have sold unwanted gifts to gain some of their monetary value.

While most of us would love to be given a wish list from our nearest and dearest to help us with present choices, we don't always get one. The obvious solution if we really get stuck is to buy the omni-purpose gift of gift cards - that way we're assured the receiver can get something they really want. With a whopping 64% of us intending to avoid crowded shops and freezing temperatures by shopping on the internet during the festive and New Year sales - online gift cards are proving an increasingly popular present choice this season.

			<title>Cheggers Plays Swap</title>

			<description>
				We've all been given Christmas presents that weren't on our wish list. We've learned to smile convincingly at the gift-giver - as though we're really grateful for something that will probably go straight to the back of a cupboard, never to be seen again. In fact, TalkTalk, the home phone and broadband company, found that an incredible &#163;2.2 billion is spent on unwanted presents each year!

TalkTalk has teamed up with Keith Chegwin and have come to the rescue and brought back the good old-fashioned Swap Shop - making sure everyone gets something they really want this Christmas.

TalkTalk understands people are fed up with wasting loads of money on parts of their phone and broadband package they don't use. In fact, its research has found that 94% of us don't want to pay for bits of our package we simply don't use, and 80% would like our package to be more flexible - which is why it has created myTalkTalk, a phone and broadband service that allows you to add features you want, and even take away those you no longer need!

			<title>14 is the happiest number </title>

			<description>
				Girls who wear a size14 dress size rated their general happiness higher than any other, with a quarter saying they were extremely happy. More than 43 per cent of size 14 women said they were as happy as they could be with their career, while almost a third say they couldn't be more content with their love life.
Second happiest, according to the research by Special K, are size 12 women, with almost three quarters saying they are completely satisfied with their friendships. Forty-five per cent also enjoy a very successful career.
A spokeswoman for Special K, which carried out the poll, said: 'It's great to discover that being a size zero doesn't necessarily bring you happiness. Our research shows that the curvier size 14 woman is much more comfortable with their shape and has a happier outlook on life. ' But those who wear a size 24 or above didn't fare quite so well, with a staggering 18 per cent admitting they are extremely unhappy with their life. Less than four per cent are happy with their career, while more than one in ten admitted they were extremely unhappy when it comes to their love life. A spokeswoman for Special K added: 'It's great that curvier women are happier, but we know that many women still find it hard maintaining their ideal shape.'
Someone who knows quite a bit about the size debate is Jessica Thackeray who experienced the less happy side of being a size 12 in the modelling world when she competed in the Miss England regional rounds. She was previously told be photographers she would never be a model because she wasn't skinny enough and then went on to beat 19 others to win the title of Miss Leeds.
Here she tells us her experiences of the competition and how she maintains her shape and happiness.

				<media:description>Size 14 women are the happiest with their life and looks, a new study has revealed.</media:description>

				<media:keywords>Miss Leeds, Kellogg's</media:keywords>

				<media:text>Girls who wear a size14 dress size rated their general happiness higher than any other, with a quarter saying they were extremely happy.

			<title>New Year, New You </title>

			<description>
				With every new year comes a new year resolution - except all too often it's not new. Many of us vow to get fit but how many of us fall off the wagon before the tinsel is off the tree?

A recent survey by Kellogg's found that seven in ten women diet every single year. Which begs the question why many struggle to maintain their goal weight or keep to the excess weight off in the long term. Amongst the common reasons for weight gain are getting older, retiring, stopping smoking, having children and going to university. The research also found that half of the population feel they are overweight and are trying to lose weight (this rises to 55% in women).

If you're one of the many women who find it difficult to keep your regime going, Steve Barrett a top fitness advisor is on hand to offer easy to follow tips. Steve, formerly a National competitor in a variety of sports, and a Personal Trainer for more than two decades knows exactly how to kick-start a regime and stick to it. With these simple exercises, keeping your body in good shape doesn't mean having to splash out on pricey gym membership and the best bit is you can keep working out wherever you are - at home, at the office or even on the commute. Even the busiest of people have no excuse; these tips are simple and free!

Here are some simple exercise to get yourself motivated, wherever you are:

At your desk - Posture break
1.	As you sit at your desk, sink down, moving your shoulder forward and towards your desk. Then slowly sit up, lifting your shoulders and straightening your spine to gradually pull your shoulder blades back, opening the chest. Sink down again and lift.
2.	Sit in an upright position to straighten your back. Looking straight ahead, lift your shoulders whilst keeping your arms relaxed. Hold for a couple seconds and drop. Repeat until you begin to feel your shoulder muscles loosen.
3.	Sit upright and this time, with your spine straightened, move your shoulders and arms forward and then back through the shoulder girdle, opening your chest wide. Repeat a few times and to finish off, get the blood pumping by circling your shoulders round until you feel more relaxed.

At home - Revitalise
1.	Whilst watching the TV, get a bit of exercise during the advert breaks. Stand looking ahead, lift your arms with your hands brought towards each other in front of the chest. With a straight back, begin to do small jumps, turning side to side whilst remaining on the same spot. Twist your body as your jump so your feet and arms turn in opposite directions. You can do this during the ads, your favourite show or even get a bit of music on - just as long as you make it fun!

			<title>White (Lies) Christmas</title>

			<description>
				It's that time of year again when the actor in all of us makes an appearance. From pretending we're pleased with another pair of socks, to offering our services in the kitchen, Christmas is a time when we are most likely to say something...but mean something else.

New research from Vodafone UK reveals the top ten most common sayings we're likely to say or hear this Christmas - and what we actually mean by them. Top of the list is &quot;just what I've always wanted&quot;, which is uttered most often, though not that convincingly as three in four of us immediately assume they mean just the opposite. Other Top 10 fake festive phrases revealed by the research include: &quot;no, of course the turkey isn't overdone,&quot; and &quot;of course I'm not drunk&quot; which has a believability rating of less than 5%! Don't forget those festive text messages too and realising who we sent them to the morning after...

If you're confused with all the festive jargon - don't panic! Here to help us through this season's verbal minefield is actress and top Mock the Week comedienne Lucy Porter - who has her own interpretations on the most common festive lies.

And if any men are wondering what their girlfriend really means when she says, &quot;don't get me anything this year&quot; - you definitely need to watch this video!

			<title>Inside The Expert's Wardrobe </title>

			<description>
				Celebrity stylist Hannah Sandling is one person who knows all about keeping up with fashion. Having hosted live fashion shows and styled the likes of Sienna Miller and Carmen Electra, she knows that making room in your wardrobe for the season ahead is essential for looking your best.

As autumn/winter is now upon us, many of us will be packing away the summer clothes and loading our wardrobes with winter attire but, how much of what we own do we actually wear? A recent poll reveals that more than a quarter of us admit to hoarding clothes finding them either too difficult to give away or assume that they'll come back in to fashion at some point. Three quarters of us have brought an item of clothing and never even worn it. While we splash the cash to keep up with the latest celeb trends, realistically, the leopard print coat you brought to look like Kate Moss probably still has it's tags on and will never be worn...

In this exclusive video, Hannah invites us into her own wardrobe to show us how to make room for the season ahead. The Clothes Exchange Programme, set up by M&amp;S and Oxfam earlier this year gives people an added incentive to clear out their wardrobes this season. <itunes:summary>Celebrity stylist Hannah Sandling is one person who knows all about keeping up with fashion.

			<title>Be a fibre subscriber</title>

			<description>
				76% of people lay claim to a healthy diet, but further investigation reveals that despite honourable intentions, Britons literally don't know what's good for them and are in a daze over healthy eating guidelines. A new health study of 2,157 Britons, marking the launch of Warburtons campaign to encourage the nation to eat more fibre, reveals that while people are aware that fibre-typically found in bread, pasta, rice, fruit, vegetables, beans and nuts-is essential for keeping their digestive healthy, more than three-quarters (76%) of men and women do not know that the guideline daily amount (GDA) of fibre is 24g , despite half of respondents believing that they eat enough fibre.

So, where does fibre come from, why is it important, and what exactly does it do for us? Lucky for us, one of Britain's leading nutritionists, Jane Clarke, is hosting a whistle-stop web guide to fibre facts and figures. Not only will Jane bring you up to speed on such essential dietary issues as how much fibre you should be eating, she'll also be lifting the lid on why a correct fibre intake does more than just keep your digestive system healthy.

			<title>Redefining 'Mandom': What maketh the man?</title>

			<description>
				Man-bags and moisturisers are redefining modern-day masculinity, 60% of modern day men proudly claim to be masters of the steam iron but only 10% consider themselves to be handy under the bonnet of a car. All this is a far cry from the men in the 1920s and 1940s, 73% of whom considered themselves car-savvy. Only a quarter knew how to turn the iron on though!

'The Brylcreem Mandom Report 2008' shows the 21st Century man is somewhat self-obsessed spending an average 26% longer in front of the mirror than men in the 1940s. Men are also currently much more in touch with their emotional side with 85% claiming they wouldn't be ashamed to cry in front of others. In the 1920s however, 40% of men said they would be ashamed to cry in front of others.

The report interviewed men from 18 to over 80 and clearly shows a great shift in both male attitudes and behaviour. With over 61% of those under 29 admitting they don't consider themselves masculine today, it's clear we've reached a ball-breaking time. Domestic and public boundaries have blurred over the decades, causing confusion over where the masculine line is now drawn.

Women want their men back, complaining that men have stepped a bit too far in the feminine direction. 60% of women aged between 18 and 29 say they would like the man to take control of their relationship. Two-thirds also say modern men aren't as masculine as men from years gone by.

Founding Editor of Loaded Magazine James Brown comments: &quot;Masculinity is best defined by a focus on competitiveness, strength and rationality, yet The Brylcreem Mandom Report 2008 indicates that modern men have become far more openly emotional, are more focused on image and appearance, and are increasingly taking on notions more often associated with women.&quot;

			<itunes:subtitle>The modern day man is master of the steam iron...but he's not so hot under the bonnet</itunes:subtitle>

			<itunes:duration>00:03:24</itunes:duration>

			<itunes:summary>Man-bags and moisturisers are redefining modern-day masculinity, 60% of modern day men proudly claim to be masters of the steam iron but only 10% consider themselves to be handy under the bonnet of a car.

			<title>Brit chicks are all-a-clutter</title>

			<description>
				British women will be spring-cleaning a lot more than their cupboards this year as 79% admit their lives are far too cluttered. 3 in 5 say part of the clutter is unwanted friends with nearly a third saying they had 5 friends or more they wouldn't mind never seeing again. Maybe we should be more selective about who we add on Facebook?

The research, conducted by confectioners Ricola, shows women are no better when it comes to their handbags or their homes. Nearly half (47%) have missed calls on their mobiles because they can't find the phone in their handbag before the other person has rung off. Considering a quarter keep 15 or more items in their handbags at any one time this is hardly surprising!

A further 78% admit their homes are cluttered with junk and although 68% plan to de-clutter their homes and their handbags, they never quite get round to it.

If this is all sounding a bit too familiar, don't panic! Simply click below to watch this exclusive video where TV psychologist Anjula Mutanda explains how to de-clutter your handbag and your life. By clearing out the old you can make room for the new.

			<title>Remembered: The best-loved advert of all time</title>

			<description>
				Out of the thousands of adverts we've seen over the years only a few stand out in our memory. Who could forget the Milkybar Kid? Or the girl enjoying a flake in an overflowing bath tub? If you're looking for the best-loved advert of all time however you'd be hard pushed to top the Gold Blend campaign that scorched our television screens across the 80s and 90s.

Before Anthony Stewart Head was snared by the likes of Buffy and Little Britain he had an episodic on-screen love affair with actress Sharon Maughan. Their sizzling romance was based on a love for good coffee and their chemistry was so captivating that the adverts were actually listed in TV guides so people knew when to tune in.

At the height of their fame 30 million people half the UK population - tuned in to watch the first kiss. A book about the untold story of their romance went straight to the number one in the top ten list of best sellers and to top it off they were so popular they knocked a Royal scandal off the front page of The Sun.

To mark their 70th birthday Nescafe are bringing together 10 familiar faces from past TV adverts to create a glamorous and iconic birthday portrait for the front cover of its loyalty magazine: Coffee Table. The portrait will include the likes of Denise Van Outen, Ian Wright and Tom Conti as well as the famous Gold Blend couple.

In this exclusive video actress Sharon Maughan speaks out about what it was like to be one of the most watched couples on television and what it was like to hook up with Anthony Stewart Head once more for the 70th birthday portrait.

			<title>National Vaccination Month</title>

			<description>
				Brits are supposed to be a nation of pet lovers but the shocking fact is that half of the nation's dogs; three quarters of the UK's cat population and 90 per cent of pet rabbits aren't up-to-date with their vaccinations.

This National Vaccination Month we are urging all pet owners to help restore their pet's protection against disease. During March pet owners can download a voucher from www.vaccinationmonth.co.uk entitling them to discounted vaccination at one of the 2,000 participating vets across the UK.

			<title>Tis the season to get wealthy</title>

			<description>
				From this Friday there will be only 88 days left until Christmas. To celebrate the countdown to the big day, there is a massive &#163;88 million up for grabs on EuroMillions, Europe's biggest lottery game, and the good news for UK lottery players is that the mega-jackpot must be won this week. So what would you do if you won &#163;88 million this Friday?

The massive jackpot could buy you several plush townhouses in London's Mayfair or an entire street in some towns in the UK. If you're into cars you could buy the entire Ferrari range several times over and if bling is your thing, then you could afford two thousand diamond-encrusted necklaces. Or if you like your luxury pampering you could stay at a top London hotel, every night, for 800 years!

In research carried out by The National Lottery, over a quarter of people (26%) across the country admit to having started their Christmas shopping already, so it seems a EuroMillions mega-jackpot to help with the yuletide spending could not be better timed.

If one ticket-holder banks Friday's jaw-dropping jackpot, they will become the lucky winner of Europe's biggest ever lottery payout - with the spending power to fund shopping trips worth &#163;1 million a day until Christmas Day. - enough money to seriously re-draft that letter you sent to Santa and add in the odd luxury villa or maybe even a token Rolls Royce.

You may not think you'd be able to spend &#163;88 million between now and Christmas, but you can certainly have fun trying. To give you a few tips on how to make a dent in that cash mountain, The National Lottery has recruited the original football WAG Suzi Walker. Suzi has an intimidating amount of shopping experience and is well acquainted with the luxurious millionaire lifestyle. So who better to show you exactly what &#163;88 million could buy and how you could change your way of life during the festive season and beyond?

			<title>Lotto Double Rollover comes of age</title>

			<description>
				The National Lottery Double Rollover has finally come of age as it hits the big 2-1 this Wednesday.

Turning 21 is a milestone for anyone. It is a landmark age when a young person enters the world of adulthood full of possibilities and new experiences. Winning the lottery on any occasion would change your life and would be the key to a whole new millionaire lifestyle. With the possibility of an estimated &#163;10 million jackpot this Wednesday, it really does make you wonder...what would you do with so much money?

Over 10,000 people have won a share of a Lotto Jackpot since 1994. In 1998 Roy Gibney from Grimsby couldn't believe his luck when he found he had the &#163;7.5 million winning ticket and has since embraced the millionaire lifestyle, creating his own fishing lake complete with swans and installing a giant-sized chess board for his garden. Last month postal administrator Angela Kelly made lottery history when she won &#163;35,425,411.80 on the National Lottery's Euromillions.

The only way to win is to play and remember the winners are not the only ones to benefit from a Double Rollover. Over a quarter of all revenue made by the National Lottery goes to Good Causes in health, education, environment, community and charity across the UK. Over &#163;20 billion has been raised for Good Causes to date. So everyone's a winner!

So what would you do with so much money? Take a holiday? Buy a new house? Get your own personal chef? Or maybe even an exotic island far far away? We asked a few people what they would do if their lucky numbers came up...

			<title>Gardeners urged to tackle climate change in the garden </title>

			<description>
				With the new gardening season now well underway, and forecasters predicting another hot summer following the warmest April on record1, a new survey2 carried out by WRAP's (Waste &amp; Resources Action Programme) Know Your Compost Campaign, has revealed that over a quarter (28%) of the UK's gardeners believe they can already see signs of climate change in their gardens.

Earlier blooming Spring bulbs is the most obvious sign cited by gardeners (60%), while nearly a quarter (24%) have also noticed an increase in the amount of garden waste being produced, such as grass trimmings and prunings.

Encouragingly, 56% understand the important role that recycling garden waste plays in helping to combat climate change, but it's a different story when it comes to putting this into practice. One in five (19%) choose to use peat-free composts and around a third (34%) of gardeners regularly home compost. As the number of people with access to a garden in the UK increases - currently 85% - there's still more opportunities for gardeners to help.

Campaign supporter, Diarmuid Gavin, is giving the green fingered a timely reminder about the ways in which we can help reduce the impact of climate change.

			<title>Trinny and Susannah join 'the forces' with Littlewoods Direct</title>

			<description>
				Set in a secret location, the new groundbreaking advert shows Trinny and Susannah as James Bond style spies on a covert operation attempting to break into Littlewoods HQ and get their hands on the massive array of big name brands.The new ad sees the style duo emerge from the ocean in full wetsuit gear. After shedding their outfits and flippers, they sneak past the guards dressed in balaclavas, scale a cliff face, break in through the roof and make a hilariously clumsy entrance to the warehouse. The TV advertising follows a number of recent initiatives involving the style gurus long term partnership as brand ambassadors for Littlewoods, including the launch of the online Style Advisor and 'The Rules', a foolproof guide to dressing to suit your body shape. This brings no nonsense, personalised style advice from trusted experts to body conscious women in the comfort of their own home, allowing them to shop more confidently and making their shopping experience more pleasurable.
